I can tile over wood paneling?
I want to tile the back wall of a kitchen. Currently, there are wooden panels there. As there is already a preformed + backsplash countertop in the kitchen, the tiles should be decorative does not in any way. I want to make sure the tiles will crack or come loose. There is no range on this, only a sink. Can I tile directly on the wall panels of wood? Would I use a special kind of (flexible?) Additive for thinset?
No don t do it because the wood is not thick enough, it dilate / s with heat and humidity.It (I m guessing) not thick enough so that no properly support tiles. No glue / thin layer or an additive that has this amount bending. Sorry. Any questions you can e mail me GL
